Welcome to the Meta Horizon Creator Program! We're excited to have you join our creator community. We want to ensure that your onboarding experience is seamless and sets you up for success. Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

Your program benefits. As a Meta Horizon Creator Partner, you’ll get access to: Monetization opportunities through bonuses, in-world purchases and competitions. Educational programming, including content from Meta leads and hands-on workshops by Meta Horizon Creator Program mentors. A community forum exclusive for program members, with Meta subject-matter experts available to assist. Technical support from a dedicated team, ready to answer your questions. Product feedback sessions to shape the future and have your voice heard.

Step 1: Start creating Install the desktop editor: Prototype, iterate, and publish engaging mixed reality and mobile worlds in our game development environment. Note: desktop editor requires the use of a Windows-based computer and is not currently supported for Linux or MacOS. Recommended resources: Create your first world: Follow this video tutorial to create and publish a new world using the Worlds desktop editor and Build Mode. Developing for Mobile and Web Players: Build a puzzle game while learning how to use web and mobile cross-screen features to offer an optimal gaming experience on all platforms. Meta Horizon Creator Manual: Use this essential reference while you create to get technical details on every Worlds element.

Step 2: Join the creator community Check out our community forum to ask questions, collaborate with other creators, sign up for live events and get the latest news about feature releases, program opportunities and more. Note: There may be a delay in accessing the community as we verify your membership details.

Step 3: Sign up for an onboarding call Join a live onboarding call to learn more about MHCP benefits, community, and upcoming events, and for an opportunity to ask the MHCP team any questions you may have. When: Wednesdays at 1pm PT RSVP: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/F-hxwMIqTVi8sGJqTQRQxw

Step 4: Enable monetization benefits (digital items and bonuses) Enable in-world purchases Log in to https://horizon.meta.com/creator from your desktop browser. In the Creator Program tab: 1) Click In-world purchases, 2) Click Get started, 3) Review and Agree to the In-world purchases terms, 4) Click Close. If this is your first time enrolling, you will be prompted to add information so that Meta can pay you for earnings from your in-world purchases. Enroll in bonuses While in the Creator Program tab: 1) Click Bonuses, 2) Click Get Started, 3) Click Agree. Enroll in monthly bonuses. New bonuses begin on the 1st of each month. You are eligible to enroll in bonuses 7 days prior to the start of the month until the sign up period begins 7 days prior to the start of the next month.
