Modern Snow White
1. MODERN SNOW WHITE (OVERVIEW)
A retelling of the Snow White myth through a contemporary lens, where filters, fame, and surveillance culture replace magic, monarchy, and mirrors. At its heart, it's about authenticity, forgiveness, and being seen—truly seen—in a world obsessed with the unreal.
Snow White is a young documentarian raised in the shadow of her stepmother, the Queen, an influencer obsessed with curated beauty and public affirmation. When the King's health declines and the Queen's popularity is challenged by a viral comment, Snow White becomes the scapegoat in a smear campaign. Fleeing from digital persecution and familial betrayal, she takes refuge with seven misfit outsiders running an underground LSD mail-order business.
Using only her phone, Snow White records them—accidentally capturing their most human, brilliant selves. Later, with the help of AI and solitude, she edits a film from this footage that unknowingly helps each of them begin their own redemption. In the final act, she quietly reclaims her voice—not through spectacle, but through care.
2. MODERN SNOW WHITE – PROOF OF WORK
Snow White doesn’t return to social media after her coma and exile. Instead, she works quietly on projects that blend video, therapy, and AI. One of them is "Seven Lights," a documentary compiled entirely from raw, unplanned footage she shot while living with the dwarves. It's not polished. It's not flashy. But it captures each of them at their best, in a light only love can cast.
The documentary is uploaded anonymously to a new YouTube account with zero subscribers. In the rolling credits, we see Patch receive the link and press play. The screen shifts to a soft montage of the dwarves—each surprised, moved, and transformed by seeing themselves as they were seen by her. They begin to change. They try, now, to become the people she believed they could be.
3. GRAPHIC NOVEL FORMAT (OUTLINE)

Chapter 2: The Hunt Snow White flees, hounded by online hate and deepfake campaigns orchestrated by the Queen’s enforcer (the "Huntsman").
Chapter 3: The Den She takes refuge in a house run by seven high-functioning weirdos who produce LSD. She doesn’t know this at first. She begins to film them.
Chapter 4: The Poison She uses the wrong chemical while cleaning. It's the LSD base. She collapses. They send her to a hospital, no ID, under the name Jane Doe.
